Luskintyre Aircraft Restorations

Restore - Repair - Maintain

The love of restoring Tigermoths arrived in the picturesque Hunter Valley in 1979, when the first hanger and fully operational airstrip was established. From 2010, Matthew Webber, a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, has owned and operated Luskintyre Aircraft Restoration (LAR), alongside his experienced team of specialised craftsmen, building LAR into what it is today.

LAR's passionate staff boast over 100 years of experience combined and specialise in providing award winning restoration, service and maintenance of antique aircraft.

The quality facilities are a one- stop- shop for full restoration projects from rebuilt engines, to complete overhaul, fabrication and servicing. The Team's years of experience and wealth of knowledge is priceless, and this is obvious in their precision and attention to detail while restoring each aircraft to its former glory. The Team services over 160 planes annually, in between a dozen restoration projects.

Known for always going the “extra mile”, LAR works on some of the world’s most unique aircraft and with clients including Red Bull, Paul Bennet Airshows and many more. They service aircraft internationally and provide support and maintenance in airshows across the globe.

LAR have a passion for aviation like no other, putting their hearts into their work to witness magnificent aircraft take to the sky once again.
